CDI is currently recruiting for our client a global provider of energy equipment and solutions for the power generation and oil gas industries. This challenging contract opportunity is located at our client site in Orlando, FL. And is scheduled as a long term contract position. The successful candidate will have a mechanical drafting background utilizing Pro Engineer, preferably Wildfire 2.0 or later versions. Will have the ability to draft, red line and detail mechanical components which relate to rotating machinery.
Description:
Prepares drawing or layouts working from engineering specifications or detail drawings. Uses a Pro Engineer and AutoCAD to perform scaling, dimensioning, or line locating according to standard industry procedures. Combines various details from sketches, drawings or blueprints and makes required calculations.
Requirements:
Typically an Associate's degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred. HS diploma or equivalent required. Specialized skill training/certification may be required
Knowledge and Experience: Successfully demonstrates leading-edge or extensive knowledge in a technical or specialty area. Generally, 5+ years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable with Pro E and Auto Cad. Desired skills include GTX Raster and SAP BOM creation
