We are looking for Windchill Testing Specialist for full time permanent requirement in Troy Michigan.
This is a Department of Defense project, estimated to be for 3 to 5 years long.

Job Description: Windchill Testing & Disaster Recovery Specialist
This role combines the Metrics, Recovery Analyst and Test Management functions.
The Metrics function coordinates identification, collection, analysis and dissemination of metrics for measuring organization performance.
The Recovery Analyst Function designs, builds, and maintains disaster recovery plans, schedules, tools, processes and procedures.
The Test Management function coordinates all testing environments and testing activities and results.
Job Duties include:
Metrics function:
· Follows the metrics processes and procedures set forth by CMMI.
· Coordinates compliance with direction from senior organizations for metrics collection and reporting.
· Coordinates identification and implementation of metrics as identified by ECI organization.
Recovery Analyst function:
· Designs, builds, and maintains disaster recovery plans, schedules, tools, processes and procedures.
· Coordinates implementation of solution(s) with other support organizations and geographic locations.
Test Management function:
· Ability to utilize Lean approach to improve the testing processes.
· Suggest improvements to the existing test environments (EC_TST, EC_INT, EC_PROD and EC_TRN).
· Ability to interact with customers to ensure that the testing is taking place according to requirements, plans and scripts. Also ensure test results are collected, analyzed and disseminated.
· Support Release Manager: Responsible to coordinate Production validation and ensure test plans are executed during production block points.
· Coordinate communication of test results.
Competencies:
* Must have knowledge of Windchill development technologies. (Data model, DCA, Template Processing, etc.)
* Experience with Workflow management, collaboration, and product lifecycle management
* The candidate will have experience with PTC Windchill ProjectLink and PDMLink versions 7.0 and version 8.0 suite of software.
* Knowledge of Clearcase for software configuration management
* Knowledge of test management tools; Mercury TestDirector and QuikTestPro (QTP).
* Knowledge of network and client/server environments.
* Strong Customer Support Skills.
* Work independently and as a member of a multi-discipline team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are absolutely necessary; analyst will be working in an enterprise-wide cross-functional team environment and supporting an integrated production environment.
* Individual must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to proactively anticipate and manage situations that have a direct impact to the productivity of our customers.
* The ability to determine the methods necessary to get things done by organizing people and activities.
* Ability to ensure the effective interaction and integration of processes, sub-processes and tasks.
* Ability to develop schedules as well as plan and organize pertinent resources effectively and efficiently.
* Ability to integrate and align resources in other departments or sections to achieve company goals and seek consensus to achieve those goals.
