OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for and assists with analysis, design, and implementation of our Client's CAD/CAM/CAE business processes, CAD Data Management, workflows and lifecycles within the PLM Systems. Provide technical & analytical support for development, enhancement, production support, troubleshooting and maintenance of PLM/CAD/CAM/CAE Systems integrations with other Client business systems. Work as a liaison between departments, end users and the PLM/CAx team to provide efficient and effective PLM workflow processes. Provide PLM/CAx support to North American Client Employees. Provide instructional support & mentoring to assist users of the applications used for PDM, PLM, CAD, CAE and CAM. This may include opening support calls & working with outside vendor help desk systems. Responsible for troubleshooting data, software & user processes as well as mentoring new users on proper use of the systems. Know and comply with all applicable Client Work Instructions and policies in working with and advising users of the PLM/CAx system. To work on various other projects as directed by PLM/CAx Manager and IT management.

DUTIES:

• Support of North American PLM/CAx System user base of 340.
• Provide troubleshooting and software problem resolution to issues related to the use of all PLM/CAx applications particularly Pro/E Wildfire 3, Intralink and Windchill 9.
• Provide user mentoring & support for applying Client specific standards to business processes executed by use of PLM/CAx System applications.
• Route issues to IT Help Desk as appropriate.
• Track and report all trouble reports and support calls
• Deploy corporate standard PLM/CAx client Application configuration settings.
• Coordinate corporate PLM/CAx System software rollouts.
• Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
• Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• 5 years CAD, CAM, CAE, PDM or PLM support experience.
• Firm working knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering & Manufacturing applications, 3D solid modeling & drafting, and CAD data management.
• Experience with and a working knowledge of MS Windows XP operating system.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office products.
• PTC Pro/Engineer Wildfire, Intralink and/or PTC Windchill Training Certification is a plus.
• Experience working in Product Development, Design, Drafting or Document Control in a Medical Device manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Positive attitude with good interpersonal skills.
• German language skills desirable.
• Self- motivated individual who can work independently.
• Must be available after hours and/or weekends to provide remote and on site technical support as needed.
• Must be available for travel to remote sites approximately 20% of time on the job.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Associate degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
