Our client, a leader in fluid handling systems and components is looking for up to 8 talented designers and design engineers for a 4-6 month contract (contracts with this client have typically run longer) in the Minneapolis, MN area. Responsibilities include:
-Design and layout of die-cast, injection molded and welded/sheet metal components using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 2.0
-Using client standards to create 2D drawings of assemblies and components.
-Support existing products by processing ECR’s as needed.
Requirements:
-2+ years of Mechanical Design experience.
-Experience with fluid handling systems & pressurized liquid applications a plus.
-1 – 2 years Pro/E experience, preferably Wildfire 2.0 or later.
-Experience with Pro/E sheet metal or large assembly management a plus
-Experience with Pro/Intralink or other PDM systems a plus
-Rate is dependent on experience and education level.
Notes:
Applicants that are selected for interviews will be tested in the skill areas identified for this position. No software training is available for this position.

NO relocation allowance or per diem is available. Candidates within a reasonably commutable distance of the above work site are preferred.
All chosen candidates will be working as 1099 independent contractors.
